I suspect that our friend is working on this, but just in case:
I would love to have the forums threaded, right now it's difficult to figure out who replied to whom.
Just a thought.

while i can see the advantages, i prefer the current system as it allows one to see all the comments and replies without extraneous clicking and loading. i suggest that using the 'reply with quote' option to make sure that it's clear to whom one is replying

I thought the same thing, too, until I finally got used to this. Try to use "reply with quote" always, and it should be fine.

I can't stand threaded board-systems :( Too much clicking and too little information on the screen at one time. ... and so annoying.

A threaded forum doesn't always mean that the messages have to end up as just links that always need expanding - it should be reasonably simple to set up a 'nested' board, whereby the reply messages are all shown, but indented and below the message that is being replied to. It just makes reading a busy post that much easier.
