This might get moved to a different section but here goes.

I know how to clone but what I was interested in is other techniques and some reference to go on.

I am making a print for myself and I wanted to get rid of the playground. But I also do not like the horizon texture either. Should I just make the clouds go all the way down? Or is it better to have a horizon line? I have tried both and both with mixed results. I also cloned the ashphalt ontot he playground which I didn't mind. I just did not like the fence. Also the tree/bush to the right definately has to go. I suppose I could move the horizon line down to where the fence and dirt/ashphlat meet. Just unsure if that is wise to do.

I was thinking of something more like this. Forgive the sloppiness.

Magic Wand, select subject
Lasso bits that wouldn't comply to MW
Copy selected
paste onto another image
Adjust hue in orange areas (shorts, hoop)to go better with blue sky.

That's just the quickest edit I could do.
If you want to do such a thing to make it look realistic, there are more steps involved.
