Hi there!

I was wondering: does anyone uses a 2x teleconverter with it? Would it give me more working distance or in other wise would it give me the same working distance with more macro abilities?

Does anyone have experience with it?

Not sure how teleconverters work, but I think shooting at 210mm would be a pain as far as shutter speeds and slight motion go.

Stay away from any 2x converters, especially on a lens as sharp as the 105. As far as working distance if I remember my optial equations correctly the working distance would remain the same.

I have found small movements a pain when it goes near to 1:1 magnification. The other day there was only a breeze of air and plants where moving very slowly and litle but the focus pois was always changing...
