BTW, I tried sending you that eBay thing I was telling you about but your email client said it was to large of a file. I'm trying to find a way to break it down and send it two separate files.

LOL, in australia, mums get money from the government for staying home with the kids. What you do is estimate what hubbies income for the financial year is going to be and they work it out from that. Well, i estimated too much and now i get some backpay. I told my husband i would put it on the credit card to try and play catch up and he said no way, get your camera cause you wont get a chance to get it again. :) So i did. I must say i felt a mixture of excitment and felt bad at the same time for spending that amount of money when he works hard for us. But he kept saying no go ahead. :) I am glad i did. :)
Now to just work out why everything is so flash blown. ??

i can hear a little rattle in the front of it. Should it be making that noise?

That is the flash housing. All XT do that, some worse than others. When I got mine I called canon and they verified what my local store told me. No problem I just didn't like the rattle on something so new and expensive.
Edit: With the flash down if you hold it firmly on top of the flash the rattle sound should stop or just about stop.
