Hi guys,
I saved some money to buy an external flash for my canon EOS300D. Any tip? I was looking Canon´s flashes, but it is more expensive than I can afford. Thanks for your help.

Sigma EF500DG SUper is excellent for the money
Metz 54 MZ4 with canon shoe is pro-level and not too pricey used. The MZ3 will work with the 300D, but for 20D/350XT lacks the e-TTL2 feature.
I have heard good things about promaster, but be careful regarding compatibility with newer (than the 300D) cameras
quantarray is Ritz/Wolfs house brand. Decent flashes.
got money? get a quantum.

I'd like to hear more about this, too. I have a 300d now but will be upgrading to the 20d later this year or early 2006.

Is the Sigma the same as the Canon as far as E-TTL goes?
