saw this on the outside of a building this morning and could not resist taking a few shots. I have always thought these were neat insects.

Nice shots Linda - talk about minimal dof!
Katydids are cool little critters too.

awesome shots Brad! They make mine look pretty sorry. :-(
Part of my trouble was that I did not havea tripod with me and the little critter was not near anything I could lean on. So - hand held macros from a gal with shaky hands.

Actually Linda, I am not very fond of the harshness of mine, as I used the built in flash. Different styles is all.
I like the minimal dof approach myself.
So what was it that Katy did anyway?  |
