I have a customer who wants a statue of her youngest daughter in her ballet costume. Do any of you do these and if so, do you order them online? Which websites do the best work? Thanks in advance.

That's really interesting to me. Last Christmas I made a personalized candle holder for my Mother-in-law. It was meant to be a fun charicature of herself and her children.
While doing this I considered offering this type of thing to people, and even posted it on ebay. Although this one was meant to be cartoonish, I can also do more realistic things. It's nothing exquisite though, just self-hardening clay, acrylic paint and resin.
I'd love to give it a try if your interested in sending me some pictures of what the mother wants.

She is really looking for the cut out type. She had some done of her oldest after a recital. They did not offer it this year and she really wants one of her youngest. I did a serch of the web and found a few sites that do it for sports teams and the such. However, I really like your figurine and and may take you up on your offer as a gift for my SIL of all of the nieces and nephews.

That's really nice of you to go to the trouble of helping her get that done.
Contact me anytime you'd like to discuss the gift your your SIL. I can work pretty fast, but the drying and curing takes a while.
