Would appreciate some comments on this pic, especially anything I can do to improve.

Nice looking horse. You titled the photo "looking for a rider", but because the horse is on the trailing edge of the photograph, it looks like it's walking away from a rider. IMO this would look really good if the horse was leading the viewer into the photo. Leave space out in front of its nose to give the photo the feeling of the horse going somewhere.

Did you do any processing on it? The colors in the chest area and underside of the neck don't look right for some reason. They almost look too saturated.

Nice bokeh, and good sharpness. Your contrast looks good. I think with a little more compositional planning, you could make this a great picture.

Well, that's my comments. I hope they helped more than they offended.

Thank you! Your comments certainly did not offend. I find them very helpful. As for the the colors in the chest area, the original also looks that way. Perhaps there is some caked on mud there. I dunno.

Yes....the horse is too far to the "right" of the photo. I'd like it about 1/3 in from the left.
