Comparing to the last few weeks this weeks entries seem to be lower. Not so much in the advanced editing even though today is the deadline for entries and we are only at 106. But the basic editing challenge only has 3 days to go and we are only at 69. I know on the final day and hours of the deadline there will be a surge of entries but I believe we may have a break from the large amount of entries.
Just wondering what affected it this week IF we are down in entries.
Was it because people are on vacation?
Taking a break from challenges?
A lot of people focusing on the mentorship threads / classes instead of challenges?
Or in the basic challenge is it a harder subject affecting the entries?
Any thoughts? - not an issue but was just wonderingâ€Â¦

| I've been planning all these days. Final day (only) is for actual photographing. Gives the best results I think. And hope. :) |

| I am new to all of this and really don't think I have the knowledge to post one for the long exposure challenge. I took a few, but they just were not something to post. As for the afflunce challenge, I still may if I can get my idea to come to life!! |

I think it may be a combination.
1. Back to school shopping ( Georgia is having is TAX free holiday this weekend where there is no tax on back to school items. Computers, electronics, clothes, supplies, etc. w/ limitations).
2. Both challenges do seem harder than recent past challenges.
3. With the large amount of mentor ship threads. I think a lot of people were out taking pictures to learn there subject.

Here's why I haven't entered any of the last five challenges:
Wooden: Went out of town.
Tools of the Trade: We're in Construction and that's just been done.
Long Exposure: Had a good photo op, but I couldn't get a decent shot due to tecnical problems.
Affluence: No inspiration
Room: No inspiration
