I'm not real smooth when it comes to post processing. Havent'e really done it much. I had taken some pics this weekend and intentionally under exposed them to warm up on some CS2 skills. What is the best way to correct the exposure? Also what is the order in which you do your corrections? Need a little advice and any help would be appreciated.

hrmm, you intentionally underexposed? That's not really good -- that's why there's a histogram on the back of your camera. The d70 tends to underexpose as it is. It's always easier (with a d70 anyway) to fix a slight over-exposure than a slight under-exposure.

Anywho...have you tried curves? Pull up in the middle...also, you could try some shadow/highlight, but you really lose a lot when working with an underexposed shot.

I always use Curves as my tone/contrast adjustment of first choice.

Underexposure isn't bad if you have a brightly-lit scene; if you have a lot of shadow areas it can be a real problem.

Use levels and eyedroppers to set a white point and a black point. Use curves judiciously (they're tricky) to adjust the tonal range of the midtones. This is the "easiest" way to do it well, IMO.
