I am sitting here with PS CS (1) in the background (left running since at least last night) doing other things, and I get a message to the effect that License Activation is not done correctly, and the application needs to be reinstalled.
This is not the first time I've gotten this. The app doesn't need to be reinstalled. I'm inferring that the **two** wasteful processes in the background that are enforcing copy protection are buggy and/or find themselves with too little memory in the resource pool, crash, and then bring Adobe (more gracefully) down with them.
In my case, this time, it crashed just after I started my FTP application, SmartFTP. I'll have to experiment with that some more, but I wanted to know if anyone else has experienced anything similar? |

I've not had anything like this (yet) with Adobe, but I've had a somewhat similar problem with QuarkXPRESS on a Mac--it had to be reinstalled/reactivated after a minor system upgrade.
I have Adobe CS on a PC at work -- I'll keep an eye on it there. |

I have not had this exact issue, however I have had to reactivate once, after a "system change" that was nothing but installing a card reader (!). IMO, you might want to use the e-mail support path with Adobe, especially if you can provide specifics of what triggers it.
