I think Kingston is a great company from past experience with memory SIMMs. And I have one CF card of theres, which has worked well.
But Caveat Emptor applies. Before you buy, check out the performance rating at:

Nice, it's listed in the top 15% for the 20D on that site. One of my 1GB CF1 cards is a Kingston, and I've had no problems with it for the nearly 9 months I've used it (and that's after 30000 shots). Pity it's not a UK offer :/

Very sound advice Neil.
I should probably point out that I have one of these cards already from back when Scalvert posted a link to this same card on Buy.com which worked out to something like $93. Here is my personal experience with it.
I have a 1G Sandisk Ultra II to go along with the Kingston, and sure enough, the Sandisk is a little faster than the Kingston on my 20D. Having said that, I still find the Kingston to be quick; certainly quick enough for my needs. But I am not a sports shooter for example - when I shoot bursts it is usually of flying birds; and I generally have the luxury of time to wait for the camera to finish writing to the card.
I also have an older 1GB original red and blue Sandisk that is slow as a turtle - the Kingston completely blows that one away.

| Well it doesn't fare as well for the Rebel 350XT, so I am a bit hesitant to jump on this myself. I am also concerned that I am already bringing home 1.5 GB or so of photos per day excursion, and my hard disks are overflowing, as are my archives of DVDs/CDs. I am beginning to think about deleting from local storage all but the "killer" shots from any given day. Now if I went out with 4 GB of CF, I'd be in real trouble! |

Too bad the offer's valid for US only :(
I have a 1GB Kingston Elite Pro on my 350D and runs smooth and quick. I've not compared it with some of the Ultra-whatever cards, but I didn't feel the need either. It's quick enough for me, more so if compared with the blue Sandisk which Canon offered as a gift here in Europe.
Edit: If anyone is willing to buy some in the US and mail them to us europeans...
