took about 100 photos in toronto yesterday, some in the distillery district, and a few stood out to me I wanted to share.

as i'm trying to improve my composition skills, as little cropping as possible. (actually i think i only cropped the phone booth photo, slightly.) minor contrast adjustments, sharpening.

I think in therms of compisition they look really great...
I like the one with the phoneboth cambine, the drawing and the girl sitting in front of the store...
If you are looking to imrpove your compisition try out this book that i really liked and it helped me.
The photographer's guide to composition, by John Freeman.

Aloha ... Before I give you my comments here is the disclaimer :) Remember my opinions are worth what you are paying for them :) The style I shoot and what I try to achieve visually and artistically may not be compatible with what you want to do ...

Flying - The powerlines and the bridge are very distracting elements of the background and to me kill the shot.

Colourful Conversation- Excellent eye to catch that shot ... for me personally I don't think the empty phone booth adds to the shot I would crop it out.

Between the Lines - Excellent eye I think the partial picture on the left edge of the shot should be cropped out of the shot (either by zoom or by pp).
