I took this picture simply because I had nothing better to do, and any comments would be appreciated. I was trying to capture my recent bad mood.

It's quite an effective, if offbeat, image. The mysterious diagonal is strangely evocative. The placement of the outer corner of the eye precisely on the centerline gives an illusion of balance that is immediately betrayed by by the glare of the eye's white.The way the sahdows move around and integrate subtly into the face is nice.
I'm not sure about the color of it, but I assume that's a conscious decision that works for you. If it's "accidental", you maight play with neutralizing it a bit. And perhaps see if cleaning up the white of the eye enhances or detracts.
