ive been working at a wedding chapel the past few weeks and taking some mediocre photos, the owner wants the standard photos they have taken at every wedding the past 20 years, but im trying to take some original photos, here is one, thoughts?

If mine, I would attempt to extract some red hue so the groom doesn't look so flushed and scared. The pose seems stiff, but the location is great. Getting the hearts in the shot is very creative, but the window is extremely "hot." Assuming you are using a tripod, I would shoot a second exposure at about 3 stops lower to get that window at about the same temp as the groom, then clone the window from shot 2 into shot one.

I think the composition is good. It looks to be over saturated on my monitor and also needs to be rotated clockwise to get the vertical lines in the background more vertical.

What I noticed immediately - the background is very busy and acutely tilted.
It might work if the bg were blurred more but straight.

yeah now that you mention it the background is kinda crooked isnt it?
well what i tried to accomplish here was get the glow off of the lamp and get the light coming in from the door (on the left side of groom) and use the flash to expose his face plus get the window exposed as best as i could, i got 3 of those things but the window was really bright and letting a lot of light in, but i think it looks good really hot

yup.. Removing some red from the face and rotating the image would do wonders. |

Now my only nitpick is the fact that the light is merged with his head (which I believe I missed with the original). A tiny bit of separation would do wonders.
... and another one. His face seems a bit too red but that may be just his complexion.
