		Hey DPC Crew,

I was hoping that some of you may have some suggestions about a good, relatively inexpensive wide angle lens to add to my collection. I currently have a 10.5mm fisheye lens, but obviously I need a nice wide angle to compliment that lens since I don't always need or want the fisheye effect. I see that some of the lens go for as much as 800-1100 dollars and I'm not quite ready to drop that kind of cash yet. I'm using a Nikon D70. My maximum budget for this would be around 500 dollars. I'm looking for something in the 16 - 35mm range, but I'd love to hear some suggestions from folks who may have a wide angle lens that they absolutely love.

 Thanks - Dave

		| you might want to take a look at the sigma 15-30. |

Opps, sorry for the repeat thread then. Do you know what the subject line of the discussion from yesterday was so that I can look that up?

What would that give you that the Nikkor 18-70mm doesn't, except 2mm wider?? Is that 2mm enough to be worth $500?

I guess for instance the Sigma 15-30m gives you 17% wider FOV, so that might make some shots possible that otherwise wouldn't be. It just doesn't seem like that much of a difference. |

		| Also check out the Tokina 12-24mm (it might be "too wide" for what you're looking for but it's good for a real wide on a 1.6x crop) |
