I could not resist to shoehorn this picture into the latest Family Challenge.

I knew that it wouldn't score that well because it's not clear what it means.
Well Brievenbus means Postbox, and she was awaiting mail from some relatives, yes I know, far-fetched, my score sais it all.
Because this has voted as a favorite by some people I wanted to share some more pictures of her that I shot the same day...
Have a look if you are interested, comment if you like...
I like them, and that doesn't happen too often ;)

Hope you like them too.... (Be gentle)

She's got quite an androgynous beauty to her. I really like the silhouette shot, very lovely.

I really liked your submission, and gave it a 6. I did feel that the connection to the challenge was not that clear to me (I don't speak German). The title might not have helped; although I like the title in general, using a title that gently tied it to the challenge might have had a positive impact.

Great portraits. You seem to really capture her, and she is extremely photogenic. All her pictures look very intense and striking!

@BradP: I'm only trying Portraits for about 4 months now, and I still don't have the feeling that I know what I am doing (Well, I feel like that about Photography in general) But Thanks for the compliment ;)

@Kirbic: Yep, I knew from the beginning that it wouldn't do so great, I just had to send something in again... Been away for to long, so I said to myself, well, just shoehorn it in, and see what happens..
I'm happy with the result.

@Fetor: She used to have long hair... I don't know what's better....
I think her bald head makes her more expressive...

Left a few comments - the texture, colors and composition are all wonderful.. all are certainly shots that you should be (and are) proud of.

I say librodo has some competition.

Oops, I think that's a bit too much credit. (But a nice compliment)
Manny is a master of light, his portraits are a real inspiration, I would be happy if I was 10% of him.
