why doesnt dpchallenge shift the weight of the score in favour of those who are members? When voting is taking place the vote of a member counts more than the vote of an open member (one who only needs to register and not pay). Should mitigate any cheating.

Given that there are 600+ entries in the current Open Challenge, I don't think it would be worth the trouble for anybody to even attempt cheating. It'd be averaged out over all of the votes, they'd have to vote on 20% of the entries, and they don't even know how close they are to the 'next place up'. One thing's for sure - this would be one hell of a way to cause a whole lot of commotion.
