Is a statuet(i guess this is spelled wrong) consider use of existing artwork?

I don't think I've seen a statue considered existing artwork yet. It's pretty hard to photograph it without light or dimension affecting it somehow.

I took this some time ago for the monuments challenge



so I guess they are ok

But being that a monument challenge wouldn't they close there eyes on that case?

In previous threads, SC have mentioned that using existing artwork is fine, as long as you are taking your own artistic "angle" and not simply photographic it "as is".
