| allright, I have decided it's time to put my feelance business on the web. I have a domaine through 1and1.com. I also have photofolio. What I can't figure out is how to create a directory on my domaine to upload the Photofolio. Can someone please help me before I pull all my hair out. |

Have you contacted 1and1? They have customer support for these kinds of questions!
I presume you've been able to ftp in? I use Internet Explorer. Get the settings from 1and1.
Photofolio can be tricky for someone to use with no prior experience setting up a website. Good luck. |

download this ftp program
Filezilla
log in to you site
address = ftp.yoursite.net (or .com whatever it is)
your username and password
this will put you in the base of you space
the htdocs folder is your website root...open this then right click in the folder area and select new folder and rename it to what ever you are going to call yor gallery then open this folder then copy you photofolio files from you computer then follow the instructions from fotofolio

Log into the control panel and go to the file manager area and create the directory and then use and ftp program to upload what you want.
