I looked to see if you had an email addie, but none listed here. In my comment I mentioned that your picture "Sweet Memory" conjures up even more than I'd stated. First I thought of pets I've loved and lost. Then I thought of the Broadway play "Cats" and the song "Memories" and it reminded me of my Mom. She died of cancer in March. I had given her a heart shaped music box and the song it played was "Memories". At the very end Mom was too weak to wind that music box, but she held it to her chest and I would wind it for her. She held it and gazed at it, very still, listening over and over. Everyone who came into her room, walked away humming that song, including Doctors, nurses, chaplain, other staff, and family. She died within days, and now that song will always remind me of Mom. She left behind her pretty little cat Brandy.
Your picture and title remind me of Mom and her cat. How our pictures place in a challenge or contest really isn't the most important thing at all. When we shoot straight from the heart, we never know how we may touch another person or many. Thanks for your picture. Thanks for the memory! P.S There is a picture of Mom and me that was taken a couple of years ago on the Yahoo DPC message board.

Didn't work for me Grayce. Not sure if it's cause I was a "guest" or not, but said document was not found. Your story is touching. Sorry about your mom. It is good that you have fond memories of her and that you will always have something to hold on to. Hope to see your pic some time of you and your mom. ~Heather~

Wow, I'm glad you liked it, and then again, I'm sorry that it brought up such sad memories for you. I'm really sorry for your loss. The cat in the picture left us about three years ago, but we still remember her fondly.
I saw your picture on Yahoo groups. That's very nice.

Please don't be sorry. The memories are bittersweet. I'm glad I was with Mama at the end. I live in Florida and had flown to NY to be with her. T hanks again for a moving photograph. Keep shooting! My Pictures
