I'm fairly new to this site and was wondering if someone or group of you guys can create a Tutorial for us newbies.
The tutorials would explain which actual buttons are legal in photoshop and other software programs. I have trouble determining which actions to use when I edit my photos. Or maybe a revised edition of the rules.
Any thought on helping us newbies.... |

Anything that you do to an area of a shot, rather than the whole shot, is illegal - like selective sharpening, erasing, etc.
In general, pretty much anything applied to the entirety of the image is OK (I'm sure there are exception, but it's late and my brain isn't working). Wacky filters and effects and plug-ins are not allowed.
And the spirit of the rules really is that it should be about the photo, not about your ability with software. If you foloow that idea you'll be OK almost all of the time.
