I havent done anything to this picture except resize it, and I was wondering what you all thought of it - and what what should I have done when taking the picture to make it better.

The light is a little harsh, slightly blown out on the top edge, centre position a little off putting. Colours look good, maybe a tad more contrast, maybe a closer crop with the log to one side. I would definitely have got a close shot on the fungii too.
Interesting shot, well taken.
