Here's one of my first serious sets of close-up shots with the WOWZA-sharp 60mm f/2.8 Canon lens. This was with the loaner 300D body, can't wait to tackle it with the 20D. This one is nowhere near 1:1, of course...

Shot at f/22, ISO 100, 3 seconds with timer and tripod. No cable release yet...

Basically straight from camera, plus sharpening. I'm running the cam at zero sharpening. Not RAW, I'll save that for the 20D. JPG fine. The print, at approx 12x16, is extraordinary :-)

Mouth watering stuff Robert, I really miss my macro facility on the old 602z. must save for a lense.
As mentioned , nice texture too :)
