I really loved my Panasonic FZ10, and now I've gone to a DSLR I've got no intention of going back to prosumers, but WOW the new FZ30 looks exciting!
As well as the standard 12x optical zoom Leica lens, F2.8 throughout the zoom range and Image Stabilising, here's some of the millions of new festures the new FZ30 has:
8MP sensor
Ability to save as RAW
2" tiltable and rotateable LCD display
Centered viewfinder, lens and tripod mount
Manual Zoom ring
F11

I'll be going for the new Minolta 5D as a backup body, but for those of you who don't want to carry or spend money of lots of lenses, this camera may well be worth thinking about.
