The light is a tad harsh...a polarizer could have helped. A monopod would also ensure sharper images...she is not using proper long-lens holding technique. :P

Excellent image showing proper "form" for stabilizing long lens hand-held. Note bracing of left elbow against body, arched back. A slightly wider stance would be even better... Now, if she could learn to shoot with both eyes open, she'd be world-class.

Can you tell I'm almost 60 years old?

You forgot to mention that BOTH elbows should be bracing against her body...

Nawp... If youi brace BOTH elbows you get MORE shake with a lens that long. Right elbow is like a flying counterweight, stabilizes the whole thing....

VERY NICE EQUIPMENT!!!!!!!! If I had one of those I would be very happy! I would hold her lens anytime.
