Hi, I was wondering how we're supposed to show the owners of this website that our picture was indeed taken in the aproved dates for the contest. What info do we send them to prove it?
Thanks
Tom

Your original un-editted version of your entry with the EXIF information intact.

Hint: The date/time must be set correctly to your local time zone.

If you're asked for proof, you need to submit the original file, unmodified.

Edit: Colette was too fast.

Upload the images from your camera to your hard drive without opening them in any program (safest approach) and save them in an "originals" folder.

Open the image you want to work on in an editing program and immediately "save as" a working file name in a working directory.

From that point on do not touch the original.

If asked to verify, upload a copy of the original per request.

That's all you need to do; the data are embedded in the original.

Robt.

Assumeing that, as Robert suggests, you have structured your photo directories so that you know where your original is...

..when you are asked for an original, there will be a link ot upload it. The link will open a page that will allow you to browse your hard drive for the file, and click "upload". And poof, you're done. Well, OK, slower than "poof", after all, you are uploading a large file, so it can take several minutes :-)
