My 2cts re: the business card.
A photographer's card should demonstrate his work. You need a picture, either for a background, or as a component of the card.
Your email address should correlate to your website address. A Comcast, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc. address causes your professional credibility to take a hit.
Hope that helps. |

I think the card is good. It doesn't reach out and grab you, but it doesn't stink either. I think I agree about the e-mail as well.
The website is good, but again, fairly straight forward. Not the best ever, but certainly not the worst. I'd get rid of your signature on the "about me" page ... i don't wanna knock your handwritting, but it doesn't really flow too good :) |

I agree there should be a correlation, between email address and website address. However I am not convinced that a business card has to show a picture.
In my limited experience with business cards from Pros, there is about a 60% 40% in favour of pictures, |

Re: website.
You have a shadow behind the wedding shot on your home page, but nowhere else. My suggestion: get consistent. Either add shadows to the rest of your images (preferred) or remove it from the first one.
The copyright text rolls to 2 lines on my monitor at 1024 x 768. Not a real issue, but the only thing that goes to the 2nd line is the number "2005". It's distracting, once you've spotted it.
The spacing of the table cells where you have your navigation is inconsistent. Large spaces between some links, smaller spaces between others.
The design is simple & clean, which I like, although the black & white strikes me as a little bit stark.
Frames kill your chances in the search engines. If that's not an issue for you, then it's not a problem. On the other hand, if you want to be found when someone searches for "wedding photographers in Pennsylvania", I'd suggest getting rid of the frames.
Hope that helps. |

Just in my quick glance over your site--have to say I like the simple, clean style of it, very nice.
And IDK if this is just me being nitpick-y, but I noticed a few typos, like on your Gallery page and the Pricing page.
Didn't know if you were aware of that, but I noticed it so I thought I'd point it out. :) |

I know there are issues with my typing...read any of my posts here..I have been working on proofing the website.
I like the shadow as well - i will work on adding it the other pics. My other thought was a frame, a simple outline line in black.
Colors...I have tried several variations and had my head handed to me over at fredmiranda.com - 90% recomended b&w site - it makes the pictures look better. Boring, yes. But overall the black and white scheme seems to be favored.
frames...there are no frames.
spacing on the links...in FF they are all fine. Look OK in IE to me as well. Could you be more specific?
as to copyright wrapping to the next line..again, i don't see it in either browser. will check on that though.
email address - i understand what you are all saying - BUT the URL is a long one as it is, add in an email@christopherperryphotography.com and you get a screenful. When i had email to another site i run for a non-profit group i got TONS of junkmail. When you administer email at a website ALL emails come to you - so precede @dpchallenge.com with anything and it D&L will get it.
In addition, I have my site name at godaddy.com and redirected elswhere. I did not thing i got email service thru them...i just checked and i thing i do, but may not know for 24 hours. Hmmm...if so, i will go for that then - if you think the length is OK.
Photo on biz card...I was in real estate for about 5 years and while a pic on a biz card does get attention, how to do it raises questions - one photo with type on top can make legibility difficult. Perhaps a b&w on 1/2 that blends into black on one side with white type...
I don't know about a pic... i like what i got so i am sticking with it for now - assuming the email address will fit! LOL
Signature - assuming i can do one that looks good, whatever that is, should i? What is there was done with a mouse in PS. My tablet and XP are not talking to eachother today.
