I have started using my old Pentax K1000 a lot more recently. Partially due to the fact that I have a 80-200 lens for it and partially due to my growing frustration with my digicam. Mostly with the autoocus part.... it's slow.... but then I don't expect too much from it it's only a S3000. Anyhooo. I thought I'd post some pics I took on film to see what you guys think. Keep in mind that these are from a 25+ year old camera and the lens is from JC Penny.... :)

These are from the picture CD I got with the prints with a little editing done. I'm also using the film camera more to show myself that I REALLY need to start saving for a DSLR...... :)

I'm thinking that my main reasons are the manual features on the DSLR that aren't on most p&s cameras. Plus the interchangeable lenses. I like to do a lot of nature photos and many times need different lens ranges to get the photo I want.
