What are 'basic rules'????

I don't get it, those are the basic Editing rules you're referring to, but it says:
Challenge: Independence
Type: Member Challenge
Rules: Basic Editing (Updated 1/5/05)
Submission Deadline: Saturday, July 16th, 2005
Description: N/A
Extra Rules: Basic rules are in effect for this member challenge.
Submissions: 24
View full details and SUBMIT...
If Basic Editing and Basic rules are the same, then why is it mentioned seperately and in red.
I'm getting confused here.

Because it's a member-only challenge. Usually these challenges have access to the advanced editing rules. This time it doesn't. You are restricted to the basic editing rules for this one. Got it? :)
