I'm looking for books for a somewhat advanced photographer. I would like to revisit the basics but would also like advanced techniques. Maybe anyone going to school could provide the title and author of their textbook. Looking for something recent and for the digital realm. Not really interested to much in how to develop film and the like.

Look at Photography by Barbara & John Upton it is often the only textbook used in entry level college photography classes.
