Count Down timer for challenges?

throwing out ideas.

Since DPC have members from all over the world, is it possible to have a countdown timer till the challenges closes?

Not sure if it's what you're talking about, but the current DPC server time is listed at the bottom of every DPC page. Challenges end at midnight DPC server time. it would be kind of neat though, that maybe for the last 12 hours or so, a little message pops up beside the challenge that says 'challenge deadline 12hrs'.
We have something similar for our site council 'DQ Deadline' so it shouldn't be hard to make happen.

Yup, timer showing up around the last 24-12 hour would be sufficient.

while it is not something I would need, I participate in another site whose time zone is somewhere in Europe, and I keep missing the deadline, unless i submit very early. So, I can see how a 12 hour countdown (or 24) could be extremely helpful.

and then I could put my cell phone number in my profile, and when the 12 hour clock starts the site could page me so I'd know it's time to start the challenge - THAT would be cool!
