Since there has been a thread about copy and paste comments I wanted to offer my apologies. I am copy and pasting comments for from my voting scale for the time bein. You may have received one. The comments will look like this:
Subject Impact: High
Meets Challenge: Average
Technical: Average
Composition: High
Creativity: Low
Score: 6
If it offends anyone I want to offer my apologies upfront. I'm doing this for now because of nerve damage in both my arms. You will be surprised how long it took to type this post, one finger at a time - about 5 minutes.
I even had my son type a few post for me lately. Now that's bad:) He said enough is enough and went back to his Xbox.
You can look back and see that usually I post long comments. Sorry for the inconvenience, hope to give better comments soon. Hope all understands.
Scott W.

I don't think the problem as mentioned in the thread you refer to was the copy&paste (unless I missed some threads)
The problem was the content of that comment.
Personally, I find your way of commenting on challenge entries very helpful. As long as you fill the info each time according to the photo you are actually viewing - as far as I'm concerned, you can copy & paste it as many times as you want ;-) |

While we are very thankful for your contribution to the community, I think you should take a break from the long posts at times and rest up. Is this temporary damage, or permanent?

possibly permanent. 2 herniated disk in neck [c4/5-c5/6]has damed nerves. Thats why people may see me on a anytime. I can sit at the desk for a while then have to lay down to rest my neck and nerve's. I may not be able to sleep and up looking at dpc at 4 am in the morning.
I'm not going to let it get me down. It has effected my picture taking because of camera shake even up to as high as 150 ss. I have to take pictures when my neck and nerves are not aggravated, same with typing. The mouse is not so bad.
What a great time to get a speech to text program...a good idea.

So sorry to hear about this painful condition - sounds very uncomfortable and irritating also.
Do take it easy - if you doctor has advised resting your neck/ arms to aid recovery, please do it and don't feel guilty about not leaving any comments.
Our health is one of the most valuable things we have...
Wishing you a speedy recovery,
Kavey

Very sorry to hear that this is causing you so much trouble. I hope your condition improves.. it's great that you're not letting it get in your way, as much as you can. But also be careful to not aggravate the problem further - that would always be much worse, of course.

The cut and paste comments I've seen people getting upset about have been of a nature they would have people upset if they were hand typed each time. I seriously doubt your comments have offended anyone.
Hope it's not permanent and you get better soon, but in the meantime a text to speech program sounds like it would be a good idea -- and an easy chair at the computer desk so you can lay your head back while dictating. :D
