I hate when I don't know how to do stuff...
for some reason when i try to add pictures in a forum post I get errors and the pic turns out to be what looks like an invalid URL to my portfolio page here at DPC. i just use the little icon above (the 'insert image' one) and cut and paste the URL. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Obviously you can get round it by using the 'insert hyperlink' button instead - which I also think is fairer t those with only a dial-up connection.
can't help you with tthe image link though.

Pedro,
The problem is that you're trying to use a page link within the [img] tags. If you want to embed an image in a message you must use the URL of the actual jpeg.

thanks for the replies.
