I have been trying for a while to get a image to have a clear background and it jus wont work in CS whether Jpg or Gif to no avial anybody got any info

Only gif can be transparent, so can a png. Make sure when you make a new file the backround is set to transparent. |

i tried that still didnt work i created a new file pasted the extracted the people i wanted with the magic wand and then pasted them making sure i specified transparent saved it as a compuserve gif and when i open it still theres a white background :(

open the gif back up in photoshop, if it has a checkerboard backround then it is transparent and whatever your using to view it is not working |

yea its a checkerboard but still always comes out white

Upload it to your workshop it should show the transparency

here it is in jpeg format but i tried Gif to still didnt work

Select Transparency and Matte colour when you are saying as a GIF. |

excuse the white border around them, but i only did it as a quick edit ;)
