When I look at the recent forum activity list on the DPC home page, it shows who authored the most recent post. Could it also show who posted the initial message in the thread?

I know I can open the thread and look at who made the first post. But knowing in advance who authored a thread might raise or lower my interest in pulling it up. Thanks. |

You can click community---------forums------then click a forum section.
It will give you that info also. I don't see a point in who creates the thread...........The only reason I use it is to find old ones that I have created. |

... or just click Community at the top and get a list of the most recent threads -- including who authored them.
I like seeing who started the thread -- it may be biased, but some individuals start more interesting discussions than others. This is particularly true of the photo threads; knowing who's photo it is before opening the thread is helpful.

Sometimes I remember who STARTED a thread but not what it was named. This would simplify backtracking, so it has some usefulness.

I think it's useful to know who started a thread...
