It looks like Sony has discontinued the 58mm wide angle lens (compatible with F717). The VCL-HGD0758 does not seem to be in stock anywhere in the US. Does anyone have any recommendations about other 58mm wide angle lenses (0.7x or lesser would be good)?
I found two products from Optics at buydigitaldirect - Optics 58mm Wide Angle Lens (WD58) and Optics 58mm Wide Angle Lens High Definition (WD58HD) - are these good?
I don't want to pay a lot and have a lousy lens with distortion or any other nuisance. :)

When I got my Sony VCL-MHG07A, a 58mm ring was included also. |
