I screwed up and didn't get to submit my picture for the circle challenge. I still haven't had the D70 for a week so I was looking forward to this. Oh well. Just wondering what you would have that of my submission.
This is the second version I almost chose.

Don't sweat it. It's a good photo - nice DoF, crisp,good tones. But this, like most will be a challenge of standouts. I tried to get a last minute photo done, but when I went to submit it, I asked myself what I would think of it as a voter and I decided it was way too mundane - had no impact, not worth checking the score every day for.
Bottom line - a 5 or 6 from me.

its a decent image but not a stand out as ken said... in a field of about 500 entries i think your score might have suffered a bit from 'middle of the pack' sydrome and voter fatigue.
