I've sent numerous emails in an attempt to get the correct fax number to send the minor waiver form to D&L to no avail.
The deadline for Circle is tonight and my daughter (she is 10) wants to enter. I went ahead and registered an account for her but I want it to be on the up-and-up with DPC.
Should I go ahead and help her get the photo uploaded to the challenge this evening and keep trying to get the correct fax number in the next day or two?
What do you think? Any SC members care to chime in please? Thanks!

I'd say that's probably your best bet. Unfortunately Site Council has no access to handle minor authorizations -- only Drew and Langdon can do that. In fact, GeneralE had to go through the same process for his son.

I'd certainly go ahead and enter; what can they DO to you anyway? It's not like it's a big deal, they are just covering their butts legalistically speaking.

You're right. We'll go ahead and submit and sort out the details in the next day or two with D&L.
She's SO excited! I gave her my old Olympus 1.3MP a couple of days ago and she hasn't put it down since! Mom just rolls her eyes like, oh no, another crazy photographer in the house! He-he ;^)

| I think it would be ok, and I suggest you start to teach her young, the younger you are the better you learn. Mabey you should let her post some pics in the forums and get some feedback |

Are you CRAZY! ;^) Just kidding. Actually, for now I've set her preferences to not show any forums. Take it a step at a time.

That's awesome man!
IMO, what we need a lot more of this day and age, parents being interested, involved and sharing in their kids lives :-)
(although I have noticed, in this particular community of folks[dpc
] their are many examples of that)

I think I emailed them a scan of the waiver or something; I don't think fax is the only option. |
