is there cheaper alternative to the canon Off camera shoe cord 2?
3rd party maybe? |

I don't know if there is a third party cord but if there is they would have to make it for the Canon hot shoe. Just something else that is proprietory.

I did purchase a 3rd-party off-camera cord from my local dealer. It is labeled "PROMASTER". //www.promaster.com gets you to their web site. Neither Adorama or B&H list this item on their site. I'm quite sure a google/froogle search will find a vendor.
I later discovered that I could have purchased an actual Canon cord for less via mail-order from Adorama. Dang local dealers. Can't live with'm, can't live without'm.
