You know how some programs have downloadable skins. Like WinAmp and ICQ. I believe that InternetExplorer has "hotbar" which is a skin thing also. I think it would be neat to have a challenge like "Winamp skins" or "ICQ skins". Most of the places you can DL the skins from will also let you post skins that you have made.
Anyone think this could be done? Opinions?
They do have certain dimensions. I think that the IE skins would be easier than WinAmp Skins, cause winamp needs a spot for the screen and buttons and stuff.
It would need to be an "editing allowed" challenge. I think we could get some really interesting things, but maybe it would be too difficult?

That seems like more of a 'Photoshop contest' than a true photography contest, to me.

Interesting idea... but I'm not a fan of hotbar because as far as I can remember it's spyware.... which means it reports back your surfing habits to others.

Yeah, I guess the winamp skins probably would be. but the hotbar skins would of course be photography based. as for the spyware thing, I didn't say USE the program, just create images similar. ah, maybe it was a bad idea all together. lol
