I'd submit:

IMG_3274.JPG and that's it :) I think you have a decent chance of publishing that one. But if you have more images of the same subject from different angles, you should submit them as well.

I agree with pag, it's the strongest one. I felt the left side and the upper part were a little 'empty' or 'not needed' somehow.
But I like the shot a lot.

I am personnally going to NYC this WE to try to be more 'inspired' (if I can)

thanks to all who took the time to give a fellow photographer an opinion :) ..

I agree, the welder is by far the strongest shot. However, I put them up on here because I'm frequently surprised by how other people get something real from something i might have overlooked. I might sub the window washer too. Since I get up to 50 submissions I might as well go nuts.

thanks again - more to come !

lionel: good luck in NYC.

I just got back from photographing "Animal Nation" today. I haven't looked at any of my shots yet, but I'm hoping to get a couple good ones in there. One of my favorites that I was taking was of a confused baby duck. It thought that it's mom and dad were a rooster and a hen. It was funny, a little girl had gone up to the little duck and the rooster crowed and protected the baby.
On the way home there was a bad accident and a couple on a motorcycle got hit by a truck. (They were unbelievably alright and just taken to the hospital for minor injuries) I got a couple photo's of the clean up and the police doing their thing.
