It's a common occurrence, begging for comments. Now let's hear what we have to say about our own images. I've done this on the last two challenges I've entered.
Leading lines

What do others have to say about their own images?

I need a person! Or a cat! I completely overlooked that when composing my shot. I was so thrilled to have a workable image I liked... I think I effectively hid many of the images flaws and I did a passable job of dodging and burning.
Funny thing. No one noticed the odd crop. Its almost an optical illusion. If you look at the ground/boards, you are looking straight down a line. But, the left handrail is shorter than the right, as if you are on an angle. Yes, I did it on purpose - to throw the viewer off. But no one noticed... I'll have to do it a little stronger next time.
(Also put these notes in the image.) Thanks Zoomdak. And thanks Brad! :)

Nice crispness, good lines. A bit over sharpened and over saturated. Boring sky, but meets the challenge.

I think you've got a good find here. A lower vantage point to raise the horizon would eliminate the boring sky as a distraction as the trees would fill that part of the image.

I gave your image a 7. The leading line is very strong and draws the viewer in however, as you say, it needs that something at the end of the line to add interest.
