Last night I accidently caught 'See Hear', a magazine program for the deaf on late night BBC. They featured a photographer from North Yorkshire whose photos had me glued to the screen. I'm not a huge fan of B&W so these must be good!

"Photographer Emma Amsden draws her inspiration from the people and the landscape of the Yorkshire Dales, to create black and white images of great power and beauty."

BBC News Article

I can't seem to find a website displaying any more of her photos, so if anyone turns something up please let me know.

bod, here are some links for you (would also suggest giving Yorkshire BBC an e-mail - they might know her website - their address is on that page):
//www.anweb.co.uk/l_04_b1/b1a05.htm
//www.the-arthouse.org.uk/emmaamsden.htm

The top link is her doing some colour photography, must admit I prefer her B&Ws

Thanks for your post, bod. I love that Good Companions picture of her; would be nice to see it in a larger format.
