feel free to blow off and vent here, but when you are calmer, you still might want to go talk to them about working something out (maybe donate some of the proceeds to the museum fund?). it is a nice image, AND, even if they can prevent you from selling it, they CANNOT sell it themselves, without your written permission...when you gave it to them, it was a gift for display--unless in writing, you cannot transfer copyright (which means they are not free to copy it, sell copies of it, etc.). good luck, and hope you can find a win-win in there somehow. |
