I thought I had a winner too...35 minutes into it I have 9 votes and my score is a 5.0 not my week either. |

I'm going to give one bonus point for every picture that has a glass filled with alcohol. Actually, make that a bonus point for EACH glass of alcohol in the image.
I'm kidding. sort of. there must be a few Andy Worhol-esque images in there, yes?

| Hello, Still finding my way around this site. Where do you find votes for a current challenge that is still in the voting process? I thought you just had to sweat it out a week before you knew anything! Marjo |

| Well I think i'm doing alright, I posted a shot which I couln't finish really... but after 41 vote I'm about 5.6 ... and I've got some helpful comments so i think i'll be pretty satisfied with the results... or we'll see... :) |

Marjo,
You need to set it in "My Preferences" under "My Home" - On the preferences page there is a checkbox that you can mark if you want to see your score as the votes come in during the week. Hope this helps!

| I really liked my submission. I thought it was one of my better shots. Right now it sits at about a 4.4--obviously no one else liked it. My wife feels really bad, cuz she picked it out of the 3 or 4 I had to play with. |

sorry David - that won't work. following another thread Drew said votes aren't counted until someone has voted on 20% or more...so many of thse people online won't have counted.
for the record I was online and I didn't give any 3's or 4's until this morning (whew1 didn't know we were being watched so closely!)

Ouch... that's not a good sign.
I thought my Photo was terible but I entered it anyways. 4.8 but no "good Photo" comments like I usually get. what does that mean?

I was thrilled with my score this morning which was at 6.8 but it has steadilly been dropping throughout the day and is now at 6.3 and falling. LOL I thought I might get a ribbon there for a minute, oh well, I like the picture and that is what counts. I didn't expect it to be a winner this week because I saw one major defect with it but didn't have time to go back and fix it.

Oh Pedro, I was just kidding. I never even looked at who was on line.
But, I don't see how anyone, let alone 11 ppl, could have voted on 20% of the photos in the first 30 minutes and have given them a fair review. Sooo maybe the votes are removed after it is determined there will be less than a 20 % vote. |

I'm at 57 votes, and not a single comment yet. I've voted on 130 and commented on 60+. Maybe we've scared everyone away from commenting with our relentless ranting on here on how we should vote, and what comments we make ("was that Harsh or Critical?").
Ah well. I took my picture about 5 minutes before the contest ended and I'm at 5.233, so I've already beat last week. go figure.
