Hello Everyone.. I think I have a problem.. and I want to know if it is a common one with any digital camera or just this Sony... let me explain... when I take a picture...with my 8 megapixel Sony Camera..along the top edge of the picture is a "darker" circular dot... being that I could crop this out...(being such a large picture).. it hasn't bothered me that much...and I do clone it out also...but it can't be normal... it is basically the color of the area around it but it is darker.. and a perfect circle... must be a flaw ?? do I need to send this $1000 camera back to Sony.. or what ?? please give me your opinions...

| Looks like dust on your sensor. Not as common with non-removable lens cameras, but certainly possible. |

| If that is true... it is a flaw in the Camera of course..anyone else have their Opinions? This is the 3rd time I have had trouble with a Sony Product... 3 Strikes...lol...first a TV... then a Monitor..and now my new Camera... |

Having used an 828. It would appear that you have something on the outside of the lens itself(or on an additional filter) I've encountered that exact thing, simple enough to clean the lens.
Of course if the exterior glasswear is all clean - there may be something internally. |

Problems with the TV was flickering in the corner....sent back to be fixed....still does it...
Monitor was gray screen....monitor sent back....came back with one burnt out pixel....still there....lol Took a couple of months each to get back....so not really fond of Sony....Camera might be the final straw....lol
And no filters on that the camera for that pic....also cleaned every time out...exact spot is always in the same place...
