I'm practicing my macro skills. I've got limitations with this Canon Power Shot A80. That being said, can anyone give me pointers on making an image like this better? I PSd it using the Photo Edit 101 tutorial.

Here is the original and my edit. Anyone want to give it a shot or give me a critique? One question I have is "Is this image even interesting enough to bother with?"

Thanks,
Roxanne

I'd say the green is a bit unnatural to my taste!
But it looks very sharp and in good focus!
Nice shot

I think you're right. Got carried away with Saturation. Here it is without. I'm glad you say it's in focus. That's my greatest struggle.

Very quick edit with Photoshop. Hue and Saturation. Played with the "green" to get this result.

The color is much better in the last adjustment. You may play with the levels and contrast some, it gets a little murky towards the center of the pic.

Good work.

I agree. I sent him a message about this. This is hard for me to get my head around, as the original was really bright green. I'm still trying to edit mine to get it to look like bandit's.
