| I took a picture for the macro challenge and downloaded it to a friend's computer and e-mailed it to myself. Oddly, now there's no exif data. I've never had this problem before. Did the e-mail strip the data? Is there any way to get it back? I really love this picture and want to be able to submit it. |

It's possible that if the image was "embedded" in the email message, and not attacned as a "file attachemnt", the EXIF may have been stripped out. There is no way to recover it from the e-mail message, you'd need to get access to the original file.

| Perhaps you are lucky enough if it has been deleted that it may have been saved in the sent items folder of the senders email. |
