I won't be entering this image, but I was just wondering what I could I do differently to make this a better image? Any input welcome. I know the colors leave a bit to be desired....it's the food coloring...lol Wine Glasses

Good work there! Why didn't you enter it? It would (could have)also work in the primary colors challenge :-)

The food coloring (color of the liquid) doesn't bother me a bit. If you're going to use that background, I'd make sure that the "horizon" is straight ... to me, it doesn't seem so but I didn't measure it. Try a slightly higher camera view so that you see the rims of the glasses. That might provide more separation in the glasses and set each one off a bit more. I guess I would like to see a smooth backgound which changes color because of lighting rather than having two different colors in the bg. BUT, I really like the picture because it's seems quite sharp and the highlights on the glass aren't distracting but enhancing. Great subject ... enjoy playing with it!
